Monte’s is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom mobile/modular home that is 16′ wide and 56′ long. The resort purchased the unit in late July 2024 from a couple that had been seasonal members of the resort family for many years, but had decided their schedule wouldn’t allow them to spend enough time at the lake moving forward.
The previous owners did a great job keeping Monte’s in great condition and did many upgrades of their own over the years, including: nearly full-length deck, tin roof with added overhangs and gutter, new beds in master bedroom, new fridge, interior paint and furniture as well as LVP flooring throughout that was installed during covid. After having the building re-leveled, we added new beds and a ceiling fan to the 2nd bedroom, a couple new light fixtures for brighter lighting in the kitchen and bathroom, did a little more painting, brought in a bigger kitchen table, chair set, and installed a new toilet. We also added a closet rod/shelf in the area where the washer and dryer had been situated to allow for hanging jackets and other gear. In 2025, we had a new electric furnace installed to be more efficient for early and late season stays as well as a central A/C unit to match the new furnace to ensure comfortable sleeping weather on those hot summer nights.
Monte’s has already received rave reviews from the first few groups that stayed in it during September and October 2024 as well those that have stayed there in the spring of 2025.
Monte’s will be replacing the Terry RV as a rental cabin in 2025 and will be priced the same as our other 2-bedroom cabins. We’re very excited to offer Monte’s as option that will be very comfortable for groups up to 4 people. (5th person would be able to sleep on air mattress.)
